Madonna's new international gym brand. Hard Candy opened its first and only North American location in Toronto. This 45,000 sq. ft. high-end facility includes hot yoga, spinning classes, free weights and a luxurious locker and spa facility.

As part of Target's entrance into Canada and the opening of 125 new stores, Target interviewed and pre-selected Reliance as one of it's 11 general contractors across Canada to convert existing Zellers stores to Target's standards. Reliance's work involved stores in Quebec and Ontario and included everything from new facades, to structural work, including seismic upgrades and complete new interiors beyond shell. Reliance complied with a rigorous 16 week schedule mandated by Target for their conversions.

This 7 storey, 164 unit condominium is located on the northern tip of Nun's Island, overlooking the water. Built with innovative energy design in mind, this luxurious apartment building has brick and curtain wall facades, balconies, and european kitchens in every unit.

Construction of new condominium, restoring the existing historic brick facade. Originally a two storey building, two additional storeys will be added, marrying a modern facade to the historic one below. To accommodate a new underground parking garage, underpinning of the existing facade and the neighbor's properties was necessary. The building houses 22 residential units with hardwood floors and European style kitchens.

This 1.7 million sf, 79 storey residential tower is Canada's fourth tallest condominium building and ranks among the top 100 tallest buildings in the world. Five stories of underground parking accommodate the 940 residential units including five floors of ultra luxurious penthouses. A 5 storey, 250,000 sf podium sits at the base of the tower.
During construction, a temporary loading dock access ramp was built to be in operation 24 hours a day while a permanent steel bridge was constructed through the site using top-down construction methods. Not only is Aura one of the first fully sprinklered residential building in Toronto, but it also includes individual water source heat pumps for each unit.

This project was the end result of the conversion of an antiquated unheated and uninsulated Butler building with asphalt flooring into a state of art camp gymnasium complete with LED lighting, new windows and exterior envelope, new fresh air and A/C systems, rubberized gym flooring and new washrooms. The gym serves as a recreational and multi-function facility for a children's sleep-away camp in the Laurentian mountains of Quebec.

"Downtown Toronto's Next address" is the third phase of Canderel Stoneridge's DNA project. Situated in the popular King West Neighbourhood, the building is very close to the trendy Liberty Village and within minutes of the entertainment, theatre and fashion districts and a short commute from the downtown core.
This 742,000 sf, 600-unit project includes 2 buildings joined by a retail podium, underground parking, three courtyards, rooftop terraces, and an all glass exterior facade. Units comprise nine foot ceilings, high-end finishes and spacious balconies.

The project consisted of the construction of a 12,000 sf atrium and cafeteria space. The atrium is constructed of 13 parralam wood arches supporting a high performance clear glass curtain wall system. The curtain wall roof was designed to act as an expansion joint to take the different movements of the two buildings that the atrium is bridging.

Reliance’s reputation for attention to detail promoted the company to successfully enter into contract with Harry Rosen Retail Stores, the standard in high end men’s fashion throughout Canada, to build their flagship downtown Montreal store of 25,000 square feet on two floors. The store included specialized boutiques, an atrium, escalators, luxurious floor finishes and fixtures. In addition, Reliance completed other retail stores for Harry Rosen in Ottawa's Rideau Center Mall, Montreal's Rockland Mall and Carrefour Laval. In 2015, Reliance has undertaken the expansion and renovations of Harry Rosen’s downtown store, updating the brand of the clothing company on a total sales floor area of 31,600 square feet.
