This elegant 33-storey tower condominium nestled among 16 townhouses in the centre of Pointe Nord, a new residential neighbourhood on Nuns' Island. Located five minutes from downtown Montreal, Evolo commands stunning views of the river and the city.

Evolo consists of 257 contemporary condominiums ranging in size from 647 to 2,000 square feet.
These contemporary condos have been designed with the tastes and needs of the most discriminating buyers in mind. The windows in every condo are generous, spanning floor to ceiling, and ideally placed to allow in the light ... and the views!: latest in open-area concepts, European-inspired wood kitchens, Wood floors, Large semi-recessed balconies, Indoor parking.

Additionally, the building is designed as a LEED™ Gold building, encompassing geothermal wells and a “Solar wall”, harnessing the sun’s heat all year round.

New 38 000 sq. ft. car dealership. The site on which the building was built was an old dump site; Reliance’s team came up with economical method to remediate the site and render it suitable to build. Being the first new Audi 2011 Corporate Design built in Canada, Reliance needed to locally procure all the specified German products. Reliance’s sourced products have become the new Canadian standard specification: from exterior and interior lighting, ceilings, and exterior details, Reliance acted as design manager, adapting the German design to our local conditions. The exterior cladding is made of aluminum curtain wall with oversize glass dimensions, aluminum composite panels, masonry and a unique mesh cladding, very particular to the Audi Program.

The construction was completed in a record time of 5 months, at the same time being the first dealership with the new Audi image in Canada.

This 44,000 square foot building includes a mezzanine of 13,500 square feet for a satellite manufacturer. Special attributes include a 2,520 sq.ft. clean room that gives access to a larger 45’ clear, 12,250 sq.ft. clean room, classified as a class 100,000 clean room. It is equipped with a pit to receive a 28’-0’’ x 24’-0’’ vibrating table and has two overhead cranes of 10 and 15 tons respectively. It meets all the technical, mechanical and electrical requirements of the International Aerospace Industry.

This new 203,000 sf distribution center constructed for Akzo Nobel Sico was built on a fast track basis and completed in less than 5 months. The project was submitted as a candidate for LEED certification and included a TPO roof to reduce solar heat gain and nine solar wall panels used to pre-heat fresh air for the warehouse. Shipping areas included 29 dock-level doors including hydraulic levelers and one drive-in door.

Only Reliance could envision the transformation of this waste site into a valuable and fuctional plot of land. The site originally contained 20' - 0" of unsuitable fill material, but Reliance formulated a soil re-engineering plan that eliminated the need to import any material. Completed in 2010, this two storey LEED building totals 140,000 sf of office and warehouse space. The warehouse is approximately 30' 0" clear and includes over eight loading docks.
Velan 1995, 1999, 2009  |  225,000 sf

Originally built in 1995, this valve production facility, fit with overhead and jib crane installations, was expanded in 1999 and more recently in 2009. The 2009 extension was a 50,000 sf added on to the existing warehouse and included construction of a new adjoining fabrication plant. It includes offices on 2 floors totaling 20,000 sf. The specifications of the specialized production areas required unique installations in electrical, HVAC and fire protection, which were all incorporated into the design and final product.

Reliance has completed sixteen Rona home renovation stores, with full service parking areas, provisions for heavily loaded floors and enclosed lumber yards. Stores average 130,000 sf. In 2007 Reliance beat the Rona record for having completed a 100,000 sf store in a record of 84 days.

This 8 month long, $35M turn-key project was constructed for the developer Aeroterm to house air cargo tenants such as Air Canada, Mercury, and Schenker. The project consists of 2 buildings, sitting on approximately 1,000,000 sf of land, with exterior envelopes consisting of precast concrete, curtain wall and prefabricated insulated metal panels. The careful selection of materials for the exterior wall was primarily based on the period during the year in which the work was to be executed. The sitework included large parking areas, loading docks and roads circulating on the air side to transport cargo to and from aircraft. Over 60,000 sf of administrative areas were fit up for tenants to manage the cargo, including special provisions for conveyors, scales, specialized equipment and cold rooms.

Renovation and extension of a Lexus dealership in Ste. Julie, Quebec. The project included taking down interior and exterior walls to accommodate a new showroom, added wash bays and service bays, as well as an extended mezzanine. Work was completed on budget and ahead of schedule.
Child Psychiatry Facility at the Jewish General Hospital 2009  |  33,000 sf

This new 3-storey building of 33,000 square feet was designed for child psychiatric hospital patient services including areas such as classrooms, consultation rooms, a gymnasium and an exterior playground. Reliance acted as the electrical and mechanical design-builder, taking responsibility for the design of sprinklers, HVAC and plumbing systems. The hospital`s energy management goals were met by using an innovative and efficient energy design, including the use of geothermal wells.
