This project is the Corporate Headquarters for Canada's national phone carrier. Reliance's mandate began prior to the selection of the consulting engineers, with Reliance acting as master team leader and design-builder. All budgeting, scoping and value engineering was performed by Reliance prior to the completion of design drawings. Initially, Reliance's mandate included the construction of 1,200,000 square feet of gross constructed area of building and a tenant fit up of 570,000 square feet, to be completed within an 18 month fast-track schedule. Reliance's mandate was increased to include Phase II, consisting of an additional 440,000 square feet of gross constructed area, containing 200,000 square feet of below grade parking and 240,000 square feet of additional finished space above grade. The project was designed as a LEED certified (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) campus site for 4,600 employees, comprising three architectural precast/curtain wall office buildings of 4, 5 and 8 storeys all interconnected by glazed atriums for Phase I, and two precast/curtain wall buildings of 5 and 3 storeys interconnected by an atrium for Phase II. The ground floors are designed to include retail spaces replicating a city core environment surrounded by a fully landscaped interior courtyard of 200,000 square feet complete with walking paths and an outdoor amphitheater. The complex also includes a 2 storey cafeteria in phase I and a 9,000 square foot cafeteria in Phase II, a gym and spa, a day care center, 3 atriums of 3 and 4 storeys, 27 elevators, 20,000 square feet of state of the art conference and training center space, high level security systems and an elaborate automated temperature and environmental control system. Parking for 2,150 cars, totaling 800,000 square feet, is constructed underneath the entire campus.

These iconic super high-rise twin towers, called Canada House, located next to the Rogers Center, and developed by Concord Pacific Group, are valued at over $400 million, includes an 80 and a 70 storey tower, totaling over 1,300,000 sf of construction, 1,397 units, luxurious amenities such as touchless car wash facilities, 6 levels of underground parking and a 12 storey podium.

Canada House's design is a tribute to all that is Canadian. Included in the façade are specifically designed lights and colored panels, that once illuminated, take the shape of the Canadian Maple Leaf. Additionally, an exterior "lake" for canoeing, echoing Canada's vast rivers, transforms into a skating rink in the winter. The suites include oversize tiled bathrooms, fully decked balconies, complete with infrared heaters, similar to the ones found on restaurant terraces across Canada, custom doors and frames, and Miele's newest technological achievement - ductless dryers.

This 1.7 million sf, 79 storey residential tower is Canada's fourth tallest condominium building and ranks among the top 100 tallest buildings in the world. Five stories of underground parking accommodate the 940 residential units including five floors of ultra luxurious penthouses. A 5 storey, 250,000 sf podium sits at the base of the tower.
During construction, a temporary loading dock access ramp was built to be in operation 24 hours a day while a permanent steel bridge was constructed through the site using top-down construction methods. Not only is Aura one of the first fully sprinklered residential building in Toronto, but it also includes individual water source heat pumps for each unit.

Construction of a new commercial retail center of approximately 1,000,000 square feet, including major civil works and urban spaces beginning construction in fall 2021. The first phase consists of the construction of a 210,000 square foot commercial building, for two (2) new retail stores, complete with a 180,000 square foot greenhouse above the retail area. Project delivery is scheduled for the fall 2022.

Seasons, a twin tower family oriented development in North York, developed by Concord Pacific Group, is valued at $200 million, includes a 39 and a 42 storey tower, 926,000 square feet of construction, 694 suites and townhouses, and luxurious amenities such an outdoor skating rink, lush landscaping, 4 levels of underground parking and a 2 storey podium.

The Seasons project is a continuation and evolution of the Park Place development located in North York where a new destination for family living has been created. This project continues the tradition of extensive amenities as part of the project, in addition to lush green spaces, and a park area, and features 4 floors of underground parking, and a 2 floor podium. The suites include luxurious bathrooms, high-end European appliances and functional kitchens.

Located in picturesque South Oakville, the redevelopment of the existing 1970’s era Bronte Village Mall included the addition of 15,000 square feet of retail space, the construction of two new modern residential towers that contain 481 luxurious suites with 614 underground spaces. The mall renovation was completed while maintaining the Sobeys store in activity with no impact on the business.

The suites range from 700 square feet to over 1200 square feet and are equipped with high end finishes and appliances. Additionally, the buildings are fully equipped with amenities including a pool, roof-top patio and lounge, party room, and a fitness room. Developed by Crombie REIT and Prince Development, this revitalization holds true to the current aesthetic and culture of the Bronte neighborhood and brings an attractive and exciting renewal to the area.

Canada Post’s $80,000,000 headquarters, located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, features 800,000 square feet of office space in two ten story towers, a separate, above-ground parking facility for 950 cars and a space-age network control centre (see Advanced Technology Section – Canada Post Control Center). Undertaken on a fast-track basis for the developer, Standard Life, the project was completed in just sixteen months – six months ahead of schedule. It has won multiple awards for energy efficiency and architectural design and was the feature on the Canadian postal 38 cent stamp for most of 2002 and 2003.

Located in the heart of the Island of Montreal, Cité Midtown will provide the best of both worlds by offering a suburban experience while still remaining close to the lively downtown area. The project will include condos and townhouses, covering 757,000 square feet with a total of 740 units. The various amenities included in this beautiful project will cater to all needs. Cité Midtown will include a fully equipped fitness and yoga facility, a heated outdoor saltwater pool, a splash pad as well as a kids' play centre for young families. For more business-oriented needs, the complex will have a shared workspace comprised of a workstation, a kitchenette, and a private boardroom, including a local cafe at the corner of the central plaza. One of its more notable amenities is the addition of a landscape area made of fruit trees and a variety of other plants that will keep its residents connected to nature within the city.

Our relationship with Mobilia and their real estate arm began in 1991 with the construction of their second retail development project. We have since built, and later expanded all of the shopping centers developed by CPD which total 5 retail centers comprising roughly 750,000 sf. Located in the Montreal region (Laval, Brossard, Anjou, Pointe-Claire and St-Hubert) these projects were all completed on a Project Management basis with Reliance acting as site selection consultant and project design cost consultants in addition to construction managers.

"Downtown Toronto's Next address" is the third phase of Canderel Stoneridge's DNA project. Situated in the popular King West Neighbourhood, the building is very close to the trendy Liberty Village and within minutes of the entertainment, theatre and fashion districts and a short commute from the downtown core.
This 742,000 sf, 600-unit project includes 2 buildings joined by a retail podium, underground parking, three courtyards, rooftop terraces, and an all glass exterior facade. Units comprise nine foot ceilings, high-end finishes and spacious balconies.
